Hanoi connects with French enterprises to boost trade, tourism

Regarding tourism development, the Vietnam Culture and Tourism Association in Europe (VNCT) proposed strategies to transform local cultural resources into commercial products. VNCT President Le Y Linh suggested connecting Hanoi’s Old Quarter with traditional craft villages and artisans to create rich, high-value experiences for French visitors.
The association also underlined the need for closer coordination between domestic tourism providers and foreign tour operators to incorporate Hanoi packages into international itineraries.
French participants and specialized tourism media hailed Hanoi’s direct dialogue approach for facilitating real-world market discussions.
Attendees agreed to maintain regular engagement through targeted promotion activities and structured business-matching platforms to realize concrete projects across trade, investment, and tourism.
